Dr. Duygu Aksoy was born in Erzincan in 1976 and began her medical studies at Ankara University Medical Faculty in 1992. After completing her medical degree, she worked as the Emergency Responsible Physician at Erzincan State Hospital for 2 years. In 2000, she started her plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery education at Atatürk University Medical Faculty. During this time, she gained extensive experience in microsurgery by performing numerous operations at the largest microsurgery center in the region.
Her thesis focused on microsurgery, and after completing her mandatory service at Aksoy Kars State Hospital, she worked as a founding lecturer at Kafkas University Medical Faculty. She has published both domestically and internationally and has made many oral presentations at national congresses.
